Understanding Autologous Micro-Grafting

“Autologous” simply means using your own tissue. In this procedure, a small sample of scalp tissue containing healthy follicles is collected and processed in a closed medical system to concentrate naturally occurring cells and growth factors. The resulting suspension is then carefully re-introduced into the scalp in targeted areas to help support scalp vitality and existing hair follicles.

Pricing and Consultation

Under AHPRA and TGA advertising regulations, pricing for medical procedures involving autologous biological material cannot be displayed publicly.

Aftercare and Recovery

Following treatment, you’ll be advised to keep the scalp dry for 24 hours to allow the area to settle.

In some cases, small sutures may be placed at the collection site; these are typically removed in-clinic within 5–7 daysby our medical team.

Most patients experience only 1–2 days of mild scalp tenderness or sensitivity, and normal activities can generally be resumed soon after.
